hypothetically,  the collision of parallel universes caused the big bang, and ultimately gave rise to us, (saw it on Discovery Science!), with each universe having its own set of unique physical properties. Then what of the parallel universes we create when making decisions and non-decision?

the use of parallel here seems odd, i’m no scientist, although I play one in my lab, but doesnt parallel mean two lines that will never intersect? so how can parallel universes collide? technically aren’t they just two universes next to each other? such as the l’s in parallel, those lines will never intersect, and if they did, you’d have a either a big “V” or a big almost-”A”

these are thoughts that keep me up at night, because if parallel lines can intersect, then can a perpendicular universe be far behind?

Yesterday, stepping out of the elevators on my way to lunch with some co-workers, there was this pretty hot chick that crossed our paths. The first thing that came out of my mouth was…Did you see that gadget? wtf was she holding? In turn…my co-horts first comment was did you see the rack on that chick?

My reaction?

What rack? did you see that gadget though? it looked like an HTC touch, but smaller.

Yes, I’m a geek. Usually the first thing I notice about  a girl is her gadgets.

2008 is off to a great start so far. lots of boarding and many more board trips to go. The big one I’m excited about is Whistler this coming weekend as well as a possible Tahoe trip set for March. But what about February?  Other than day trips nothing is officially planned however there is a 3 day weekend in that month I wouldnt mind going to mammoth or utah…who’s in?

On a lighter note of things, I watched the macworld keynote over dinner last night and it was probably the first keynote I saw where I didnt want to bust my wallet out and buy the new products. The macbook air looks great, but too pricey. I’d rather have he multi gesture pad on a macbook along with the backlit keyboard and all the other awesome features but in a macbook. Maybe even a pro. The biggest disappointment for me was the lack of the 3G iPhone announcement. Which could have been expected as they wanted to showcase their new product as well as not cannibalize their current iPhone sales. I fully expect them to announce it when the SDK comes out or even in June. The sooner the better though as I would love to have something that will actually sync my contacts and my calendar with my friggin mac!

ahh back to boarding…this year is already turning out to be a very interesting year. It will be bigger and badder than last year and even uncut!

the start of a new year means starting with a clean slate.

this year…my slate has already been filled and its only the 6th!

looking back at least year, it was a VERY BIG year with lots of ups and countless downs (with a memorable shout out to my doggy who past away early in the past year), with lots of learnings from both.

quick recap….went through a record 4 jobs, played a lot of golf, dated a bit (forgot how rusty I was), worked less, and traveled a lot more. woohoo!!!! what a year.

now for this year, I want to have less jobs, play more golf, date just ONE person more, work less and travel more. Pretty much the same thing as last year, and its already off to a good start. have several trips lined up already for January, Feb, March and May.

here’s to the new year! welcome to the year of the dirty thirties!
