The week in tools from our friend Chuck! - “What Maker doesn’t carry a pocket knife? We gave up our daily-carrys this week to try out some new ones with blades made of chrome vanadium - an alloy near to any tool-lover’s heart. We also looked at a cordless metal circ saw (you’ll never cut conduit by hand again), a new 36V drill/driver with various capacity batteries to lighten the tool when you don’t need a zillion minutes of runtime, a sweet box & pan brake, and a truly portable MIG welder - complete with gas - that lives in a sub-50-pound suitcase and plugs into almost any common AC power source. We also talk to Eli, a film-industry grip and carpenter about his tool experiences.” - Link.
