Want a free Burger King Whopper?

Here’s how…grabbed from hsojeel

Here are the instructions:

* Find a reciept with the telephone survey on the back.
* Where it says to write the code and place the two letter code followed by 5 numbers (hint: Numbers do not have to be in any order or value except that there has to be five of them) for which month you are currently in.
* Example: WH 12345 the only thing they will check are the two letters.
* You still have to buy any size fry or drink but you will always get a free sandwich of your choosing.

Month Codes:

Based on which month your are in choose the two letters that coincide with that month.

1. Jan = BB
2. Feb = LS
3. Mar = JH
4. April = PL
5. May = BK
6. June = WH
7. July = FF
8. Aug = BF
9. Sept = CF
10. Oct = CK
11. Nov = CB
12. Dec = VM

Hope this helps when the craving hits.

T.M.X. Elmo

Uncategorized No Comments »

The new Elmo came out yesterday and boy does it rock!

It’s the latest incarnation of tickle me elmo, but extreme! Hence T.M.X. The X is also for 10, because he turned 10 yesterday. The coolest thing about the TMX is that when he gets tickled, he slaps his hand on his knee, then falls down and can kick his legs and then gets back up.

Amazon, is already sold out, and ebay has some going for $120. The craze has already begun. If you’re a smart parent, you’ll tell your kids that this toy blows and they will get it after the holidays. =D

Here are some really cool food containers by Fit and Fresh. The most interesting design aspect of these is that they have a built in ice pack compartment to keep the food nice and cold for hours.

I particularly like the salad shaker as it has built in compartments and comes with a knife and fork, and compartments for the dressing.

Do you use any of the following? SD Card, miniSD, transflash, and MMC. Then you have to own this. It’s about the size of a lighter and it’s awesome! Granted most computers do have media card readers, but there are times when they don’t. And this handy little device has really saved me more than once. I always carry this little guy with me in my bag and I am able to move docs, images, and whatever else whenever I need to.

I find this happens more often than not. Especially lately when I need to transfer media files from home to my computer at work.

The best thing about this is that it is compact and doesn’t need an external power source. The only real problem is that if your USB ports are close together, it will most likely take over a couple of ports because of the width. This is the only real problem. Other than that, if you need to be able to transfer large amounts of data then get the SanDisk MobileMate.

Are you looking to save money and get healthy and help the environment? Check out this interesting little book that talks about ways to get around without a car. It’s pretty helpful, but for people that live in LA, not really practicle, but u get the picture.

Now-a-days with a commute that is driving me crazy and my health problems, I am heavily thinking about a job that is more local…possibly even to the point where I can ride my bike. How awesome would that be?

Regardless, its interesting to see how much you could save without a car. I’d save a bundle on gas alone. Throw in a car payment and insurance, and you got a bundle.
