Cool mac apps and tips
Now that I am getting a MacBook, I have decided to compile a list of some cool software that only runs on OS X.
iClip - This clipboard enhancement tool allows you to keep snippets of info while working so that you dont have to create documents for everything.
Adiumx - A multi protocol chat program. Great for those of you that are on every piece of chat prog out there.
Delicious Library - This is an organizer tool that will help you organize everything you have, like books, dvds, music cds, and pretty anything else. The really cool part is that you can scan in a barcode and it will grab the info from amazon making it that much easier to catalogue your collection as well as have all of hte info on hand.
Parallels Desktop - A better solution to bootcamp. Instead of dual booting, you cna run windows inside the OS X environment which is better.
Change the harddrive in MacBook video
Skype for Mac - free calls to others on skype list. great sound.
Automator - how to really use this great functionality
Undercover - program that will help you recover your macbook or macbook if it gets stolen
Menu Master - Change the shortcuts to any program with your own with this cool little app.
Mac OS X Processes - Find out what all of those mac os x processes are.
CopyWrite - Helps with script writing and making sure you stay on track.
DivX on Mac - Finally a way to play divx movies on a mac
Mac OS X Tips - Apple has a Pro page that has come cool stuff. What I like most is the OS X Tips section.
