Finally having some free time, I got a chance to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Yes, I am a Harry Potter fan. I have been for quite some time. The thing is though, I haven’t read a book since book 3. This is beacuse I like to read in chunks, so I’m waiting until the final book, book 7 to come out so that I can get the entire boxed set. Yeah baby!
In any case, the incarnation of book 4 was quite incredible. It was a bit darker than the other movies, but the way it was shot and the direction it took was more grown up. This definitely makes sense since all of the characters are growing up as well. It’s nice to see the tone of the movie match that of the age of the kids, or should I saw teens.
Couple of things to note…Hermione…growing up to be a hotty for sheezy. Her and Ron will defiinitely hook up later. I am sure had I actually read the books, I’d already know by now. The french chick…funky cute. If you see it, you’ll know what I mean. Then there’s the asian chick. Cute. I think she’s scottish, because of the way she spoke. I’m a sucker for chicks with accents. But she’s cute to say the least.
I would highly recommend this movie to anyone that wants to just get away from reality for a few hours. This was one of hte few movies that I watched and didn’t really notice the time. It must do with the right amount of plot and story building mixed with the right amount of action sequences.
I don’t want to give too much away, but needless to say. Go watch this!
ps - if yer wondering what to get me for x-mas…books 1-6 wouldn’t be too bad eh?
