Goodbye Good Guys?
Not sure if I’m late to the party or not, but I just got this email from CompUSA that said that due to all of the Good Guys stores closing, customers can find the same products and great customer service at CompUSA.
WTF? I can’t believe Good Guys even lasted this long. I remember when they were the only tech store in my neighborhood. They were’nt too bad, but they were seriously overpriced. Then Best Buy opened up, and I never went to Good Guys again. I remember one day when they announced that they will no longer carry computers, but be THE place for audio and video entertainment. I went to the store, and again, overpriced and their sales people were pretty lame.
Just wanted to note this. I’m not sure if CompUSA bought Good Guys or what, but we’ll see how long CompUSA lasts, as I haven’t really bought anything from them because they are a bit overpriced as well.
Amazon.com is where it’s at!
