What do you want in a laptop? There are so many great laptops out there, but even though you can customize some of the components, there really isn’t one that truly suits me.

So with that in mind, here’s my laundry list for my ultimate laptop.

Aside from having the best dual core processor and 2 GB of RAM, here it goes.

- upgradeable video card, starting out with one that has 256 MB RAM
- built in dual tuner tv recorder
- composite video/audio out and in
- awesome sound built in speakers, like the Harmon Kardon in the HP zd series
- over 100 GB harddrive at 7,200 RPM
- 12 in 1 media card reader
- widescreen, could be 17 or 15.4 inch…make it touch screen!
- dual layer dvd burner

Anything I missed?

That’s my list. I’d love to have this all and make it the size of Apple’s powerbook series.
