We all love the Tivo dvr. I mean who can live without it? Besides my parents that is.

Knowing all of this, what can be done to improve it? Loads baby! Loads!

Currently the worst thing about the Tivo is that it does not sport a dual tuner option, so that you can watch and record one show while you record another show. This comes in handy for those days when you have multiple shows on at the same time. Like when scrubs is on and mythbusters is on at the same time. Makes. Me. Mad!

Of couse that isn’t the only thing. I’d take away Tivo subscription payment. Why pay for it? What’s the point? What happens if they go out of business? Will you still get the info? I’d move them over to a free tv listing service since you are paying up the butt for the Tivo box.

Then there is the whole HD thing. Tivo where you at? Get the High Definition crap into your box already!

I love the TivoToGo service, but what I’d like to be able to do is stream the shows to any machine or tv. One device at a time. Like the Slingbox. This will really kick it up a notch. I’d love to be able to watch my shows from work or anywhere else for that matter to help me catch up on my stories. This would be great especially if Tivo were to lock it down so that only one device can be utilizing it at a time.

What else can improve the Tivo? Nothing much really. The remote is awesome, the program guide layout is pretty cool and the box itself it nice.

Just get on this wish list and do it! Do it! DO IT!
