iPod nano
Granted this just came out, I can see some room for improvement. My main gripe with this iPod is that they moved the headphone plug to towards the bottom of the iPod instead of at the top. This may seem trivial to some, but if you are like me, you plug a tape adapter into your iPod and then roll. Having the wires come out from the bottom makes things a bit messy. Albeit, it’s a small irritant, it’s enough to drive me batty. So the first thing I would do is move the plug to the top.
The second this is to increase the memory! I can’t believe they got rid of the mini, which I LOVE. Granted there is a color screen, what they should have done is put that color screen into the mini and increase the top end storage to 8 or 10GB.
Other than increasing the battery life from 14 hours to at least 18 and increasing the storage to at least 8 GB and moving the headphone jack to the top, it’s really hard to say how else it can be improved. After playing with one, I knew I wanted to get it, but these small gripes made me change my mind.
The iPod mini rules!
