Word on the street is that Palm, MS and Verizon are hosting a shindig on Monday where they will announce the Treo 700w. Thats w for Windows Mobile 5.0. The specs are pretty much the same except a better camera. 1 MP, but get this, it will have a resolution of 240×240! What the heck? Why won’t it have 320×320? I guess you give a little and then take a little. I was hoping it will have wi-fi built in and get a memory dump, but to no avail.

I guess I’ll have to wait until the next version, possibly the 800 to get the built in wifi and larger memory.
