This is possible. Gamespot is saying that Sony may wait until 2007 to put out the Play Station 3 so they can hone it and really make it awesome. they are saying that Sony will wait until Microsoft launches the Xbox 360 and see how well it does. If it does well and it seems that Microsoft is gaining market share, then the PS3 will come out quickly, but if they feel that the Xbox 360 isn’t a real threat, then they’ll wait and make the PS3 the best machine ever!

But how will they make money you ask? There are rumors that Sony will drop the price on the Slim Play Station 2 to $99.99 by the holiday season. They are hoping to be able to ride the wave just a bit longer.

The New York Times is reporting about an RCA product that basically connects a cell phone to your landline by way of a docking station. The way it works is that you put your cell phone into one of the docking stations and then when a call comes in, you can answer it using the phone that also comes with it. It looks like the handset that comes with it is bascially a 2 line capable phone that allows you to answer and place calls from the cell phone or use the land line. The handset allows you to use most of your phones functions as well which is a great feature.

Finally the Creative Vision has come to life! This is Creative’s Portable Video Player that can play virtually anything you can throw at it media wise and can record video. Another great thing is that it will be compatible with TivoToGo. So get this while its hot!

They are planning to release a 30 GB version for $399.99. Not a bad price. It’s actually downright palatable at this price. With all of the capabilities I wouldnt be surprised if this is a hit.

I don’t think I’ve used Yahoo! to do searches in a long time. I usually use Google. There are times when Google doesn’t give me what I need so I check out AskJeeves. But now that I’ve been playing with some tools, I must admit that Yahoo! is doing a great job!

For instance, their mindset search which is still in beta allows you to sort searches by relevancy. There is a slider that you can move towards to determine what types of search you want. It’s pretty cool. I did a search for green tea and the slider showed shopping on one side and research on the other. By moving the slider either way the results changed. This is pretty awesome as I hate it when I am searching on Google to find product info, and I get 3 pages of shopping sites.

There’s a great review of the Cardo Scala 500 bluetooth headset that works great for the Treo 650 and other bluetooth enabled phones over at treonauts. I’ve been using the Motorola HS850 bluetooth headset and it has served me well, but I have been having issues with it. Mainly that I don’t really have a great place to hold it when not in use. Because I haven’t liked the lanyard, I usually keep it in my pocket. Let’s just say that that isn’t the most ideal place, especially when you factor in the keys, and misc items that get thrown in there. I’ve even tried just wearing it, but I think it looks pompous. I’ll never understand people that do that. I always think they are on a call, but they aren’t!

If you’re a pc user, check out Konfabulator, which was just bought out by Yahoo! and I am hoping this will spur more development into awesome widgets.
