Daily Clerks

As if Google doesn’t have their hands in a lot of stuff, they are now entering the chat and communication world. They just beta launched their Google Talk client, which works with your gmail account. Surprisingly it looks pretty sweet, but I dont’ know. I mean, I would love to get in on it, but…there’s something fishy about it.

Also, they launched their new desktop bar which is awesome. I use the side bar feature which is jam packed with goodies. Get the second version now. I must admit, it works pretty well.

I like the way Google is really pumping out new products, but it really gets me thinking, are they collecting the data? Will their motto of ‘do no evil’ really be pertinent for long? I mean they are able to track your web surfing habits and searching habits and now that they are getting into the desktop and chatting world, they have more access to stuff.

But that’s just me. I still like them, but all of these new fancy products are getting me a bit worried.
