Daily Clerks

As if I wasn’t busy enough, I’ve taken up a hobby of sorts. I’ve begun a new project which is developing a new script/story. The title is “Mike Thadman, P.A.”

The main story is around a guy named Mike. Meet Mike. He’s a PA, which is short of Production Assistant. Mike is a hard worker and really wants to move up in the film industry but he lives in his head, is bitter for being a PA for 4 years, and is socially inept, which really makes it harder to move on up.

The show’s premise is based around his life, similar to Curb Your Enthusiasm. The show follows him around from home to the sets of shows where he tries to make a living and figure out the system so he can become…well…he’s not sure. But more than a PA.

In the first episode, he goes onto the set and sees a cute girl. The scene then cuts to him going up to the girl, being very suave and landing the date. Then it cuts to the actual scene and you see him go up to the girl and he totally flubs it. And on and on the day goes with him running the errands and meeting random people that just irk him and yada yada yada.

This can be an interesting project to work on, especially just to get my mind off of work and all of the other million things that run through my head.
