HP has called off their shortlived engagement with Apple. Was this really a surprise? There was no real added value for getting an HP branded iPod other than…well, it was branded.

I had always hoped that the HP + Apple would bring about cheaper iPods for the PC users, but alas, the prices always remained the same as Apple’s and there was no real difference.

Stupid HP.
