Lately, it seems as if the future I once envisionedhas definitely changed. It has become the land of the great unknown.

Do I stay in the tea industry or do I move on to some other projects? I would love to stay in the tea industry, but that really all depends on where and what i will be doing.

Either way, the end of this year will defiintely be all about change. Whether its a change in location or change in jobs.

Remember how I said that it would be awesome if NetFlix began to offer games alongside their dvds instead of hte pricing war? Well, here’s a company that did it! GameznFlix.com This site doesn’t have too many games or dvds just yet, but they definitely are on the right track?

Their basic plan of 3 dvds/movies is $17.25. Not a bad deal. Not bad at all.

Last weekend while at my dentist’s office, I saw something new on the wall. He still had the old school teeth pictures, but he had this HUGE digital wall clock. It was easy to read and it displayed the month, day, and the temperatue. I talked to him about it and he told me it was an atomic clock so it never needed to be set.

That was it. I was sold. When I went to go look for it, the only one that seemed to really pique my interest was the same one, except it also displayed the interior and exterior temps and the weather forecast. I got it today, and I have to say, it is AWESOME!

It loks great in my office and if anyone has been in my office, I have had this broken analog clock that I still tend to look at for the time even though its only right twice a day.

So if you are looking for a clock, this is the last one you’ll ever need!

Did anyone read the paper this morning? There was a brief article in the business section of the LA Times that said the Board was unhappy with the current CEO’s decisions and pouring millions into the online foray. But instead of being ousted, the chairman decided to give him a stay in hopes that it can be turned around. Plus, if they actually fired him, they’d owe him $54 million in severance. What a severance!

I am sure the shareholders aren’t happy that the online counterpart is eating into the offline business, especially since their all you can eat video instore rentals cost way more than the online part. What’s interesting is that you would think it would be the other way around, because of the cost of stamps and all of the fullfillment costs.

Anyhow, if they do decide to get out of hte online biz, this bodes well for NetFlix, and could signal the end of Blockbuster since they are losing money because of the online units costs.

Let’s wait and see.
