No Blu Ray in Xbox 360?

It may come as a surprise to many that the new Xbox 2/Xbox 360 will be coming out with a regular dvd drive in order to keep costs down and get the console out in time.
This will be interesting as it would have been awesome to use the Blu-ray or HD dvd discs and see what kind of games could fit on there.
