Not content with just news that Apple has updated their iPod or that they may be making an Apple with a cell processor, here is some more news!
According to this reuters article, it looks like Apple may try to buy TiVo.
This would really take the point home that Apple will be vying to be the home media center, or at least try to get their foothold and ultimately stranglehold over the home network. This and the fact that they came out with the cool Mac mini seems to really be showing the road that Steve and Co. are planning to go down.
If this story holds out to be true, I will be utterly impressed, as they will probably come out with the sickest device that will be so easy to use that even a caveman could use it!
Only time will tell, or more accurately, only Wall Street disclosures will tell.

Oh boy. I can’t beleive some people. Yes this chick is cute, albeit, pretty hot, but it’s amazing to see how many people have already dedicated so many sites to her.
Mandy Amano, you have just become one of the most sought after girls in geekdom…until the next hot chick that’s into comics comes around that is.
This blog made by Justin of Michigan has been the one linked to from many other sites, so I’ll do my part and link to it as well.
One thing I must say is that she is pretty hot. I guess we’ll have to wait and see what else she shows up on so these fanboys can put up some more pics.
mmmm…..

It finally came around. Someone had to come up with a way to burn those legally obtained music to cds, whereas it normally costs .99 to burn it. And it’s happened with Napster’s To GO service.
The service itself is isn’t too bad, as you can get an unlimited amount of music for $15 a month, with the only downside being that when you stop paying the monthly service, you lose all of your music. I said in an earlier review that this really isn’t a bad deal in itself, as you would potentially spend hundreds of dollars to fill your ipod. I actually know people that have done this.
So anyhow, this is cool.
Practical how to:
(credit goes to warlock1711 of club.cdfreaks.com for discovering this loophole)
0. Download and install Napster, sign up for 14 day free trial.
1. Download and install Winamp
2. Download and install the Winamp Plug-in Output Stacker
3. Open Winamp Options->Plug-ins->Output->Dietmar’s Output Stacker->Configure
a. Add out_ds.dll from Winamp/Plug-ins folder
b. Add out_disk.dll from Winamp/Plug-ins folder
c. Select out_disk.dll in the Output Stacker->Configure
d. Set the output directory and output file mode to Force WAV file
e. Exit preferences
4. Load downloaded Napster protected WMAs into your Winamp playlist
5. Press play and each file will be converted to WAV as it plays
6. Burn WAVs to CD with your favorite burning program
