10GB Hitachi CF card
Bluetooth….no tooth. Gizmondo portable gamer

Hitachi has announced that they created some 1 inch hard drives that can store up to 10 GB.

10 GB!!! Given that the ipod mini uses 1 inch drives, we should expect to see some bigger storage in those little puppies.

Is it just me or is the hard drive sector really making some big gains in the mini drive area? Seriously, these seem to be the new thing, now that CPU’s have decided not to focus so much on speed.

Now if only someone from the pda world will buy a clue and shove one of these things inside it, instead of the paltry 128MB or 256mb. I mean c’mon. PDA storage seems like the old x86 computer storage of yesteryear compared to portable electronics.

The ultimate PDA would have wifi, bluetooth, a 10GB mini drive and both an SD slot and CFII slot. Aside from the vga screen, fast processor, and user-replaceable battery. Obviously.
