WTF?! Nookia has come up wi0th a navi-wheel phone design called the neo. As much as it look slike the ipod, it sure doesnt have storage like one.
Too bad, it would have been a really great way for Nokia to try and win back it’s mobile phone lead. But we’ll see what they decide to do as the phone is an interesting concept.

Palm has decided to open a Treo only store in San Jose. This is an interesting step as they will only sell Treo’s and Treo accessories. They already have palm stores but we’ll see how it works. Next time I’m in SF I am going to check it out.

Finally, Maria the blinker got fired. Too bad Wes had to go too. But this past weeks Apprentice was interesting stuff. They had to work at Levi’s and come up with some promo stuff.
Ivana (my choice for winner) came up with a really great idea, it was basically a wheel of jeans where you turn the wheel and it shows what type of fit you want and then shows the type of jeans.
Throughout the whole ordeal, Maria’s true face came out. Man, she’s just a bossy bitch, and didn’t want anyone else to touch the promo. She was like a nazi leader. Except where the heck was Wes, who was the real leader? That dumbass couldnt stick up to…I dont know. But dang, grow a pair!
Then there’s Jen. She may be pretty hot, but dang, stupid is as stupid does. She didnt understand the concept of the wheel, didn’t really do much, and just kept getting in the way. I loved how they gave her busy work. But then comes the clincher. During the presentations, when the Boss asked her what the wheel meant, Jen jumped right in and began to explain it. Then when Trump asked the Boss who did the best work, he said Jen! I couldn’t beleive that Ivana or the project manager didn’t say anything. Man, I would be fuming. But this really shows how Jen is really smart, in that she takes credit for other peoples work. Stupid-whore-that-looks-great-in-a-pair-of-jeans-with-big-boobs-and-great-ass!

Looks like Verizon and T-mobile will have ring back tones. What’s a ring back tone? It’s the ringing you hear when you are calling someone. I’ve heard these in Korea a few years when I lived there, it was pretty awesome. I know that it’s big out there, like many people change them up every day or week. But now it’s coming here.
I remember the first time I heard it, I though I dialed the wrong number or was somehow put on hold. It was weird but then I got used to it, and it really kicked ass. Now only if Cingular will come into he fray.

If you’ve wanted a thin tv but too cheap to shell out a few grand for a plasma or lcd, now there is a relatively flat CRT! This is some great stuff, although it’s still pretty deep at 16inches, but thats not too bad, and its a fraction of the cost of regular thin tvs.
This isn’t too bad, we’ll see how they actually look once they come out and we’ll do a full review.

I know it’s been a while since I posted so here are some updates if you haven’t heard of them already.
TiVo looks like it will allow the commercial skip but inplace of it they will have small ads running along hte bottom where teh thumbs up appears for when you want to record a show. This is pretty lame as the whole point of the TiVo or any pvr for that matter is to be able to fast forwad through commercials. We’ll see how this works, but I wouldnt mind so much if TiVo then made the service free, that way it makes sense for the ads to show up.
Otherwise, suck my ass! I am not going to pay that much money for something and then have to watch stupid mini-mercials. I can’t wait until some genius comes up with the idea to run ads along the bottom of a pvr and make it free!
In fact, that would be awesome, as you can then run big ads when they are checking out the guide, and just have small ads run across the bottom that can be content related.
You can then have them click on the ad to run the whole ad or be able to surf the net, b/c the pvr would have wi-fi built in to connect to your network.
That’s it! THAT’S IT! The ultimate PVR Company.
- Create a box where the storage can be user upgradeable.
- give service for free, but run ads along the bottom
- make ads content related, so that whatever type of show is on, it will throw up a relevant ad
- allow user to click on said ad and surf the net, or be able to bookmark it
- run ads in tv guide
- put built in wi-fi

Pretty interesting stuff what this guy did. He went across america in a segway! WTF?! Talk about having a lot of time on his hands. i mean, the damn thing only goes so fast you know? It would have surely driven me crazy but I am sure he saw quite a lot of great things along the way.
