I really love how James Cameron has written this article and states how we should keep exploring space, and how he got the exploration bug when he did his research for Titanic. But I really wish he had emphasized exploration not only in space but also in the oceans. Especially after scientisits have recently found 178 new species, and expect to find thousands more over the next few years.

So little is known about the oceans and there are so few pictures of the deep blue sea. It seems like more is known about the far reaches of space and what stars and constellations look like, yet there is a valley int he ocean that is many times larger than the grand canyon and is suspected of having nan ocean of its own. There is just speculation for so much of our own home planet.

I liken this to living in a huge house but only going outside and exploring the city, state, and country, while rarely stepping foot into the backyard and seeing what kinds of plant are out there and what not. I mean, that’s the deal.

If it were up to me and if I ever get the opportunity to do something like this, I would totally make exploration of hthe ocean my frist priority.

Anyhow, James Cameron made a great point which is to just explore.

Ever wanted to get your computer fixed by someone that is really cool and geeky? That’s the essence of Geek Squad. Why am I such a rabid fan of theres? Well, for one, they are cool, and another I was thisclose to becoming a special agent but I had a previous engagement which was I had a job that paid too much. But I would have been more happier as a secret agent.

But these guys rock. I am glad to see how much they expanded after Best Buy got a hold of them. One of the more interesting things about this company is that many entertainment companies use them as well as musicians. There first incarnation on their website had Ice Cube and the Rolling Stones all saying thanks to the Agents for their help during concerts.

Overall, if you really need some help, check them, or if you just want to get a cool job.

Amazing. Creative actually got 20 people to trade in their ipods for the new zen players. To think, at first when I read about this I thought that they would be lucky to get even 5 but to get 20! They even got some kid who just bought a mini iPod to trade it in. Probably b/c he thought he was getting a better deal, but he’s a moron.

This is a great little ipod photo competitor. It can play mpeg-1 videos, and it also sports a 13 in 1 media reader so you can actually dump your digital camera’s pics onto the device. That’s obviously a bonus. What’s not a bonus is that the price of this portable media player is pretty expensive at $549.

Dangnabbit! I knew that apple would do well, but this is really something. Their stock price has gone over $60, a first since like 2000. Man, that’s a lot gain. Especially when we track it from when I had originally purchased it which was at $15. Too bad I sold it at $30 last year to fund my company. Geez…oh well. This is still a company I would love to hold stock in, but not at this price.

The only reason why the stock price has gotten so pumped up is because of the ipod sales. I know that the iPod sales can’t go on forever, no matter how much we want it to. We’ll see what happens next year, if they decide to offer video playback or what on the next revision.

OK. So it’s only for his casino empire, but still. This is the second time he has filed for bankruptcy in his casinos. The other time was in 1992. This is interesting to see as Trump doesnt consider the bankruptcy a failure, which isn’t surprising as he hates to fail. And of course whatever he does, he does big or at least says its big and the best. We’ll see how he utilizes this restructuring to build the baddest and most profitable casino.

Personally I highly doubt it until they get some top notch acts. I mean Palms Casino does some great stuff and that is why they are so popular, but then again they are in Vegas.
