Seagate has come out with a new 5 gb pocket drive that is really small and for those that want to carry and transfer more than the flash sticks can handle, which is maxed out at 1gb. This is really great as I usually like to transfer loads of porn…uhh I mean loads of porn. Dammit! Did I say that again?

In reality this should come in more handy than the regular flash sticks and it is powered off the USB cable. So that’s another plus!

Seems like the only real downside to this is that the casing is pretty flimsy plastic and not what they had hoped. But be on the look out for others utilizing the 2.5 inch 5 gb hard drive as well.

Dual disc? Dvd on one side and cd on the other? Could this be the future of media?

Personally I don’t think so. I’d still prefer to get a dvd disc and a regular cd, b/c I usually leave the disc in the car in a cd folder, whereas I keep dvds in the house. So why have both? Who knows/

Just another way for the music industry to make money, granted they should really just embrace digital technology. But what do I know other than being a consumer?

Here’s a story about how a dog basically saved his owners life, by dialing 911 and opening hte front door for the firemen and paramedics to come in.

The dog is a beagle that is specially trained to know when seizures are about to occur and alerts the owner if any are impending. That fateful night, the dog, Faith, kept jumping all over the bed and whatnot, not letting the owner sleep. So the owner was beginning to make some hot cocoa and then BAM! She passed out.

Faith then got to the phone, pressed the speed dial for 911 and just kept barking into the phone.

I was listening to KROQ this morning and Kevin and Bean said something that totally caught my ear. They had said that 60 minutes will be doing a piece on Ashlee Simpson’s gaffe on SNL. WTF?!

Wait, there’s more! Apparently 60 minutes was at SNL doing some stuff for their upcoming story on SNL and they were filming the snaffu from another angle, and they have some footage from rehearsals earlier in the week. The apparent teaser is that yes, she can’t sing worth balls, and yes she does suck.

But the fact that 60 minutes is doing a piece on this is really interesting. I mean c’mon. It’s 60 minutes! tick tick tick tick tick tick

So last nights task of making the NYPD recruiting seem alluring was an interesting task. I didnt get to see all of it but I did see how Elizabeth was flustered. I am impressed that Andy also led his team to victory. I bet Mosaic now sees him as a formidable competitor and rightly so!

But onto the biggest moment if Apprentice history. The boardroom. It seemed like they were totally killing Elizabeth, and I could have sworn that she was going to cry at any moment. But the whole boardroom thing was impressive only because The Donald didn’t let her defend herself, and just fired her!

honestly, even while I was watching it, I totally would have just fired her ass, but dang, for The Donald to do it was a mind blower.

On a quick sidenote, did anyone else notice that Carolyn was getting quite a bit of face time? Especially in the boardroom. hmm…I wonder what thats all about. She also seemed to be smiling a lot more this season than last. I wonder if she’s getting some….hmm….could it be with Bill Rancic? Hmm…..not to spread any rumors but….she does seem to have that ‘just got laid’ glow about her… hmmm….

ok thats enough.

ebaumsworld, one of the funniest sites ever has the video from the snl gaffe that was ashlee simpson. I only heard of it, but dang…watching it was like watching a train wreck. It’s even funnier than the monkey video where the monkey scratches his butt then smells his finger and falls off the tree! Ya’ll know what I’m talking about!

I came across this cool little product from a a company called SonoS. They make the first multi room digital music service. Their controller looks almost like a beefed up iPod.

This whole concept is pretty interesting, and I am sure there are people that buy this. I mean, it just looks cool.

But then again, you can do the same thing with both audio and video using a server and stuff, but thats not as cool looking. But highly functional.

Anyhow, check them out eh?

check out this cool search tool if you really want to be able to have the better search tool for your computer.

It’s called Blinkx.

I highly recommend this to test run it and see if its for you. This is great for those that need to search through a bunch of crap all day.

There is also this thing called Pluck. It’s like tivo for the web. I havent tried this yet, but it does look promising.
