The Big Load of Crap
So I watched The Big Bounce at work the other day. It sucked. I really don’t recommend it to anyone with half a brain. While watching this movie, all I could really think was how glad I was that I didn’t pay for it. So here’s a quick synopsis. Jack (Owen Wilson) is a small time thief/con that is trying to figure out his life. He meets a girl and gets sucked into a scam to steal $200,000 from the girls lover. Double crossings ensue and culminate in a twist that really isn’t that twisty. The movie suffers from the fact that the plot is paper thin, the jokes are pretty weak, and the acting isn’t all that great. The two things that help the movie in any form is Owen Wilson, who is just a likeable guy on-screen at least, and the lead female who is really hot. That’s about the only redeeming qualities of the movie. So with that said, go rent something else.
