pieces of april
Pieces of April….a lot can be said for this movie, but in one word…heart. This movie has a lot of heart. Don’t expect this movie to be fast paced or anything like that. Once I got into the movie, I can totally feel what April was going through. Just sheer frustration and longing. All that good stuff.
Katie Holmes does a great performance, and the fact that she’s soooo hot! well that also helps, but her hotness isn’t really shown in this movie since she’s all….I’d like to say punked out but its something else. She still looks cute.
But onto the movie, at times I just wished I could punch out the sister, Beth, and make the mom straighten up, but things just fell into place.
Tears came to mine eyes at the end….just watch it.
